    At Junction 1 of the M3 turn left onto the A308 “Staines Rd West”. At the first major junction turn left onto the A244 “Windmill Rd”. Continue along the A244, under the M3 which becomes “Upper Halliford Rd” which then becomes “Gaston Bridge Rd” close to American Golf Sunbury.
    At the next roundabout turn right into “Russell Rd”. Take the 4th turning on the left into “Church Rd” and then the 3rd left into “Ferry Lane”. Shepperton Lock is at the end of Ferry Lane.
    At Junction 11 of the M25 take the A317 “St Peters Way” heading towards Chertsey. At the first roundabout take the 1st exit turning left into “Eastworth Rd” and then baring left into “Fordwater Rd”.
    At the T junction, turn right into "Chertsey Bridge Rd". Cross over the River Thames and take the 2nd turning on the right into “Docket Eddy Lane”. Shepperton Lock is at the end of “Docket Eddy Lane”.
    There is parking for cars immediately beside the lock, coaches may also set down by the lock but are advised not to park here.
